Tottenham Hotspur could move for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford if they jettison Richarlison this summer, according to the Telegraph.

Talk of a switch to Chelsea has not relented, and the London duo are potential suitors for the Red Devils’ academy product heading into the next transfer window.

Rashford has had a season to forget, bagging just eight goals in 42 appearances after ending last term with 30 goals in 56 games.

He has been omitted from the 33-man provisional England squad for the European Championship this summer as a result.

The 26-year-old has been poor with and without the ball this season, and leaving Man United could be the best option for him if he wants to get his international career back on track.

United fans booed him off the pitch before the shoot-out win over Coventry City in the FA Cup last month and he was involved in a furious row with supporters during the warm-up before their final home game.

The Man United faithful will not be against his departure given that he has often looked disinterested on the pitch.

He averaged 19 sprints per game last term compared to 22 two years earlier and made fewer presses in the final third than in his two previous campaigns.

A move to Spurs or Chelsea could be appealing if his £325,000-a-week wages can be met, but Man United will unlikely allow Rashford to join an English club.

Tottenham refused to sell Harry Kane to them as chairman Daniel Levy was unwilling to strengthen a rival, and Man United will be reluctant to sell Rashford to a Premier League club.

Paris Saint-Germain may revive their interest in Rashford with Kylian Mbappe leaving in the summer and other suitors could come forward if United indicate a willingness to sell.
