A concern for Germany as Knaak goes over to the touchline for treatment on a knee complaint. The tournament's record holders have had a rough time with injuries this summer. Is their rotten luck set to continue on that front?

Spain have took some time to get going but their first opportunity on goal is a good one as Carmona's cross is fumbled by a German defender into González's path for a snap shot but Berger saves superbly

The first real opening of the game belongs to Germany, who see Bühl make inroad son goal from a speedy counterattack but drags her shot wide of the target.

That already looks like it could be their best route to victory tonight!
