Sheffield United have rejected two bids from Leeds United for right-back Jayden Bogle, according to Football Insider. Both bids were reportedly in the region of £4 million but the Blades are only looking to sell the 23-year-old for a fee of £7 million.

Bogle is in the final year of his contract after the club triggered a 12 month extension clause in his deal earlier this summer, and it is uncertain whether or not he will engage in negotiations for a new deal. As such, the Blades could be forced to sell him if their valuation is met.

Bogle has scored 12 goals in 103 appearances for the club, and has made 115 Championship appearances in addition to 50 in the Premier League.

Football Insider insists Bogle has told close friends that he wants to move to the west Yorkshire outfit this summer.

As things stand Bogle is the standout right-back at Sheffield United following George Baldock’s departure following the expiration of his contract. United cannot afford to sell Bogle at the last minute or else they could end up with a very inexperienced right-back room.

Leeds United have just recently sold their right-back Archie Gray for £40 million so the Blades are quite rightly holding out for more than the apparent £4 million bid for Bogle.
