Benjamin Sesko has agreed to join Manchester United on a five-year deal according to reports.

The Red Devils have competed with Newcastle United for the Slovenian striker and they look like the favourites after news that RB Leipzig player has agreed personal terms with the club until 2030 according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The transfer isn't complete though as Manchester United still need to agree on financial terms with the Bundesliga side.

Newcastle previously bid £78 million for the 22-year-old, something that the Manchester side have not matched yet.

Ruben Amorim's team are expected to up their previous offer, which may include more add-ons considering the club's current financial situation.

Sesko has played 87 times for Leipzig since joining from Red Bull Salzburg, in which he has scored 39 goals for the German side.
