Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes and Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah are among six players shortlisted for the Professional Footballers' Association’s Players' Player of the Year accolade.
Premier League title-winners Liverpool have two representatives on the list, with Argentina international Alexis Mac Allister joining Egypt’s Salah, who has already clinched the Premier League Player of the Season honour.
Salah, who netted 29 goals and registered 18 assists last campaign in the top flight, is bidding to claim the prize for an unprecedented third time.
Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak is also recognised, having fired the Magpies into the Champions League with 23 goals in 34 Premier League outings last season.
Despite United enduring a woeful 15th-place finish in the table, Fernandes chipped in with eight goals and 10 assists for the Red Devils.
Chelsea creator Cole Palmer and Arsenal’s central presence Declan Rice round out the list of finalists.
The award winner will be revealed on 19 August at a ceremony in Manchester.
