Wayne Rooney visited the Everton Stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock and feels the new venue will benefit the club moving forward.
The former striker was given a tour of the Toffees' new 52,888 capacity stadium and believes the atmosphere will remain similar to their current Goodison Park home.
Rooney, a boyhood Everton fan, also spoke about how David Moyes' side can maintain their identity at the state-of-the-art waterfront stadium.
Everton will play in their new home from the start of the 2025/26 season.
