Just yesterday, discussions between sporting director Massara and the player’s team intensified, opening a window to finally unlock the deal, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Borussia Dortmund are also involved in the race, but Roma is aiming to close a deal worth around €16-17 million, a figure that could convince the English club.

A five-year contract worth €2.2 million per season is also on the table, an offer that would satisfy Fabio Silva.
