Roma could be forced to sell midfielder Manu Kone to finance signings, with Inter Milan, PSG, and Bayern Munich among the clubs keen.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Il Messaggero, via FCInterNews. They report that the asking price would be €50 million, whilst the Premier League could be another destination.

Roma had seemingly taken midfielder Manu Kone off of the market this past week.

On Thursday, news emerged that Inter were ready to make an offer for the Frenchman. Furthermore, it was even reported that Roma were considering negotiating.

However, the Giallorossi made an abrupt about face. They reportedly rejected Inter’s €45 million bid for Kone.

According to Il Messaggero, however, behind the scenes Roma are still wavering.

The reason for this is that the Giallorossi still want to do a fair bit of incoming transfer business.

And at the moment, the financial margins are not really there.

Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini openly admitted yesterday that he’s not certain about Kone’s future. He didn’t hide that he wants more signings before the transfer window closes.

Il Messaggero report that Roma want a fee of at least €50 million for Kone.

Apart from Inter, the newspaper name Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich as potential suitors for the 24-year-old. Then, the Premier League would also be a possibility.
