As Real Madrid kicked off their season, injuries spread through the team like wildfire, causing many to question whether the club could compete for the La Liga title and dethrone reigning champions Barcelona.

Despite constant injury mares, coach Carlo Ancelotti and his staff expertly weathered the storm by picking up wins in succession.

Now, the club’s resilience throughout the season is about to bear fruit. Real Madrid are just a few steps away from claiming the coveted trophy and proving their doubters wrong.

Plans for celebrations taking shape

Indeed, according to MARCA Real Madrid plans to celebrate the La Liga title on Saturday should the results go their way.

The premise is simple: if Madrid secures only one more point than Barcelona this weekend, they will be declared champions.

However, Los Blancos will have to wait to see if they have done enough against Cadiz because Barcelona plays two hours later against Girona.

If Barcelona falters, fireworks at Cibeles will ensue. Real Madrid are adamant not to lose the opportunity to celebrate their possible championship win, even in the face of possible delays brought on by schedule issues and the impending Champions League match against Bayern.

Not Real Madrid’s first rodeo

While it may appear uncustomary to celebrate with the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals around the corner, Real Madrid have gone down a similar route before.

Indeed, two years ago, they celebrated their La Liga win against Espanyol on April 30, then held a party at Cibeles just four days before their Champions League second leg with Manchester City.

Despite the tight schedule, Real Madrid pulled off an iconic Champions League comeback with Rodrygo scoring twice.
