Real Madrid send public message of support to Real Betis star Isco | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Sunday sent a public message of support the way of a former member of the club’s midfield ranks.

The player in question? Isco.

The name of Real Betis standout Isco has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines across Spain over the course of recent days.

Unfortunately for the 32-year-old, however, as much has come for altogether negative reasons.

After suffering a major setback in his injury recovery efforts, Isco was forced back under the knife, to solve an ongoing fibula issue in his left leg.

As much means that, after picking up his initial injury all the way back in May, the Spaniard may not take to the pitch once more until the new year.

Messages of support, in turn, have since flooded in for a player who proved himself one of the standout performers across the entirety of the La Liga season in 2023/24.

And, as alluded to above, on Sunday, such messages have been added to by one of Isco’s former clubs.

In a statement released across their social media platforms this evening, Real Madrid wrote:

‘Real Madrid and the Madrid fans want to show their support and affection for our beloved @isco_alarcon, who we hope to see recovered soon so we can continue enjoying his magic on the pitch.’
