In a recent report, Fichajes claimed that Real Madrid are showing interest in Monaco ace Vanderson. It has been mentioned that Los Blancos would have to rival Manchester United and Barcelona in the race to acquire the services of the Brazilian talent in the summer.

Vanderson’s Impressive Form In Ligue 1

Vanderson is having a decent campaign at the French club as he has put in a string of impressive displays on the right side of Monaco’s defence. The Brazilian sensation has registered two goals and one assist in 17 appearances for Monaco this season across all fronts.

The 22-year-old has been a positive influence on the right flank based on his average of 3.0 tackles, 1.8 interceptions, 1.6 clearances, 1.5 shots, 1.0 key passes and 0.9 dribbles per 90 minutes in the Ligue 1. He has even distributed the ball from the right wing after completing 75.4% of his attempted passes in the top tier of French football (stats via whoscored).

Vanderson is under contract at the French club will expire in the summer of 2028. Therefore, Los Blancos would have to make a big offer if they are serious about recruiting the Brazilian talent.

What Will Vanderson Add To Real Madrid Boss Carlo Ancelotti?

Vanderson is a solid tackler of the ball and can time his tackles well to earn the ball back for his side inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when required and can create a few inviting chances for his teammates up top.

The Brazilian full-back is a good dribbler with the ball and can shoot the ball accurately from long range. He is primarily a right-back but can also function as a right-sided wide player if asked to do so.

We can expect Vanderson to add more quality to Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti’s starting XI. He is good enough to serve as an ideal replacement for Dani Carvajal at the Madrid club.
