Initially expected to make a move to Villarreal on loan, Arnau Tenas’ (24) switch to the La Liga side will instead be permanent, as per RMC Sport and Fabrizio Romano.

Tenas joined PSG from Barcelona on a free transfer two summers ago, but has naturally found game time limited. Since joining, Gianluigi Donnarumma has been the undisputed No.1, whilst there have been other arrivals in that position since. Matvey Safonov arrived to be backup to the Italian, whilst this summer Renato Marin has also arrived to strengthen the club’s backup options.

Donnarumma has also been displaced by the incoming Lucas Chevalier, and the former has yet to depart, although that is expected to happen in the coming days. Tenas has therefore played just eight times for PSG, and the prospects of him playing at all this season are limited.

A move was expected, but it was the form of it that remained uncertain. He will join Villarreal on a permanent deal. RMC Sport have reported a fee of €6m (including bonuses), however, Romano, has stated that the move is worth just €2.5m.
