Sheffield United and Millwall face each other this Tuesday at the Bramall Lane for round 41 of the EFL Championship.
Sheffield United have picked up 83 points and currently lie in 2nd position. In their last game, Chris Wilder's team lost 1-0 against Oxford United (EFL Championship 2024/2025).
Millwall currently have 54 points and lie in 9th position. Last time out, Alex Neil's team triumphed 2-1 against Portsmouth (EFL Championship 2024/2025).
The last meeting between the two teams ended with Sheffield United winning 1-0.
Theo Wilson (AllThingsBlades): Following on from Saturday’s disappointing trip to Oxford, Sheffield United will be looking to quickly put that loss to bed and respond with 3 points against Millwall.
The Blades dropped to 2nd in the table after Burnley’s victory against Coventry but were let off by Leeds slipping up against Luton.
I think so far this season Sheffield United have responded well to losses and often put things right in the following game and I’d expect the same to happen tomorrow although it will still be a very tough test.
Prediction: 2-0
Omer (That Millwall Podcast): After our 2-1 win on Saturday against Portsmouth we're still in that chasing pack just outside of the play-off picture, six points behind Bristol City and Middlesbrough. With the latter coming to The Den on Saturday, if we can avoid defeat at Brammall Lane the outside chance of making the top six will linger on.
Realistically though, I think we'll do well to walk away with a point, with the home side chasing the league title and promotion you can't help feel they'll be too much for us on the night. They beat us in the league earlier this season and I feel like they might do the league double over us for the first time in over 40 years.
Our absentees remain the same with Camiel Neghli and Femi Azeez missing in the wide areas, whilst Japhet Tanganga was forced off having fractured his wrist, my player of the season this season for The Lions.
Prediction: 1-0
