The transfer window is open and active once again. The Los Angeles Galaxy have benefited from this before as players like Marco Reus have signed with MLS and made history.
With the Los Angeles Galaxy seemingly out of the playoff picture, they may not be buyers this time. However, the opportunity to become a seller is on the table.
Tom Bogert, an MLS and USMNT Insider, has reported that there has been interest in the LA Galaxy's Aaron Bibout. The 20-year-old footballer has already been moved once before.
Bibout was elevated to the LA Galaxy's main roster in June 2023 when Javier Hernandez's season was cut short due to an injury.
"“We want to continue, every window, to try to take a step forward. So, it would be great, but I think there's a lot of variables inside of that that need to transpire for us to be as active as maybe we would normally like to be.”"Greg Vanney, head coach of the LA Galaxy
The Yaoundé, Cameroon native was transferred to Swedish club Västerås SK Fotboll three months ago. The amount of the transfer fee was not disclosed. In his first ten games with Västerås SK, Bibout has scored six times.
The LA Galaxy, who entered the 2025 MLS season strapped for cash, made decisions to move on from stars like Dejan Joveljic and Marky Delgado, among others. The trades were made with pressing concerns on the salary cap.
In less than three seasons with Ventura County FC, Bibout has appeared in 45 games and scored 19 goals. He has also played for the U17 team for the country of Cameroon in 2021.
