Ousmane Dembélé returns to PSG training, but caution is issued over his return to action | OneFootball

Ousmane Dembélé (26) returned to Paris Saint-Germain training on Saturday after suffering from a muscular injury while on international duty with Les Bleus.  However, according to L’Équipe, caution has been issued over a potential return to competitive action for the France international attacker.

Les Parisiens are preparing to play Seattle Sounders in their final group match of the FIFA Club World Cup. It’s a must-win match for the UEFA Champions League winners after they suffered a setback with a 1-0 defeat against Botafogo in their second match of the competition.

Dembélé is eager to return to competitive action after he officially returned to first-team training after a period of rehabilitation work, which involved training independently from the group. Despite the 26-year-old returning to train with Luis Enrique’s squad, the PSG medical staff are keen to ensure that the attacker is eased back into competitive action, and he his likely to miss out for the final group match.
