With the score poised at 1-1 at Stamford Bridge, Arsenal missed a glorious chance to take all three points with virtually the last kick of the game.

The Gunners had players seemingly lining up at the far post to tap the ball in, but instead Leandro Trossard snatched at the chance in the centre of the goal... and missed.

The referee blew the whistle almost immediately afterwards, and Mikel Arteta did not take it well.

His exasperation saw him tumble to the ground and bang the pitch with his hand in frustration.

It's easy to see why, too.

The Gunners now sit nine points off the pace at the top of the league, and Chelsea move above them into third on equal points.

That winner could've seen their title hopes kept alive.

Is it over for Arteta and Arsenal this season?
