Neto Gets 7.5, Palmer With 7 | Chelsea Players Rated In Hard-Fought Draw Vs Ipswich Town

Chelsea welcomed Ipswich Town at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they focused on earning a win at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a poor start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 19th minute when Julio Enciso found the back of the net. Ben Johnson doubled Ipswich’s lead just 12 minutes later as Enzo Maresca’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.
Axel Tuanzebe scored an unfortunate own goal in the 46th minute which gave Chelsea a way into the contest. Jadon Sancho equalised for the Blues in the 79th minute as the West London club earned a hard-fought 2-2 draw in front of their home fans.
Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player fared during the clash against Ipswich Town.
GK: Robert Sanchez – 6/10
Sanchez made two solid saves at the back but won’t be happy about conceding two goals in the first half.
RB: Trevoh Chalobah – 6/10
He was far from convincing inside his half but was not shy of having a strike at goal.
CB: Tosin Adarabioyo – 6/10
Adarabioyo put his foot through the ball when needed and was replaced in the 45th minute.
CB: Levi Colwill – 7/10
He earned the ball back a couple of times and made two decent chances going forward.

LB: Marc Cucurella – 6.5/10
He caught the eye at times on the left flank and made two inviting chances for his teammates to score.
CM: Enzo Fernandez – 7/10
Fernandez made a few decent chances in the opponent’s half and was always willing to have a strike at goal.
CM: Moises Caicedo – 6.5/10
Caicedo was accurate with his ball distribution but failed to make a difference in the final third.
RW: Noni Madueke – 7/10
He caused a lot of headaches for his marker but struggled to threaten the opponent’s goal.
CAM: Cole Palmer – 7/10
Palmer was a constant menace in the Ipswich half and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
LW: Pedro Neto – 7.5/10
He made a lot of inviting opportunities on the offensive end of the field.
ST: Nicolas Jackson – 6.5/10
Jackson had a few strikes at goal but failed to take his chances.
