Napoli still working to sign Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez | OneFootball

Serie A giants Napoli are still very much in the race for Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez and are working towards landing the Uruguayan.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that while Napoli are working to sign Udinese’s Lorenzo Lucca, they haven’t stopped in a move for Nunez.

An important offer has been put forward to Liverpool, who have €50 million plus €5 million on the table. Napoli have also offered a wage of €5 million to €6 million per season to Nunez.

The Uruguay international’s wage demands is double than that of Lucca and Liverpool’s demands are also much higher than what Udinese want for the Italian. But a final decision will be made depending on where progress will be made and that is why Napoli are working on both the tables.

Alfredo Pedulla has reported that the Partenopei have Nunez at the top of the shortlist and know everything as to how to close a deal, but are working on other tables as alternatives and the Uruguay international is keen.
