AS Monaco winger Eliesse Ben Seghir (20) has reached an agreement on personal terms with Bayer Leverkusen, according to Sky Sport. Talks are reportedly well advanced between Les Monégasques and Die Werkself to find a compromise regarding a transfer fee. The versatile Moroccan international is reportedly Erik ten Hag’s priority target to replace Amine Adli, who recently left Bayer Leverkusen for AFC Bournemouth.
L’Equipe reported yesterday that an agreement was close between Bayer Leverkusen and AS Monaco, with the latter holding out for a €35m transfer fee for Ben Seghir. The 20-year-old was open to a move away from the Principality club as his playing time had decreased over time. Still, Ben Seghir, who featured in Monaco’s Ligue 1 opener last weekend, was present in Friday’s training session, attended by Get French Football News.
