Serie A giants Milan are keeping tabs on former Chelsea boss Graham Potter, as they look to increase their efforts in search of a new manager at the club.

The Rossoneri see Paulo Fonseca as a favourite to become the club’s next manager, reports Luca Bianchin, but there are other candidates that the club has on their shortlist as well. Fonseca is expected to make a decision about his future soon but it remains to be seen what he picks and Milan are already prepared with potential alternatives.

One name is that of Graham Potter, who is someone that Milan are keeping tabs on and he is being considered. Another alternative happens to be Argentina boss Lionel Scaloni, for whom initial telephonic contact has been made by the Rossoneri and he would only be free to join a club after the end of the Copa America.

Marcelo Gallardo has also been interviewed and he is currently in the process of leaving Al Ittihad. Milan appreciate him a lot but it remains to be seen whether he returns to River Plate or manages elsewhere in Europe.
