Newcastle United and PSG are reportedly keeping an eye on Christopher Nkunku’s situation at Chelsea, where the French forward has struggled to make a real impact.

Nkunku arrived at Stamford Bridge from RB Leipzig in 2023 for £52 million, but injuries and stiff competition have limited his opportunities. With his future at the club uncertain, speculation around a potential move is growing.

Earlier this year, journalist Ben Jacobs reported that PSG had considered bringing Nkunku back to France before ultimately pulling out. Bayern Munich also decided against a January move, though Sport Bild’s Christian Falk suggested they could revisit the option this summer.

While Chelsea would like to recover as much of the transfer fee as possible, reports indicate they may be prepared to cut their losses and move on from what’s increasingly seen as a misfire.

According to The Mirror, Manchester United have been quoted £35 million to sign Nkunku this summer. Nkunku is reportedly on United’s shortlist of striker options this summer, with Chelsea prepared to take a significant loss on the player they signed for £52 million just two years ago.

TEAMtalk previously reported that Chelsea were open to selling Nkunku but had initially set the asking price at £59 million—a figure considered too high for Juventus, who are hoping to negotiate a lower fee if talks move forward.

The report also mentions that Bayern Munich and Newcastle United have expressed interest in the 27-year-old ahead of the transfer window.
