Manchester United have turned out the opportunity to sign three veteran Premier League strikers, as they will instead focus on recruiting Moise Kean.
The Red Devils have already acquired Matheus Cunha, while they continue to vigorously pursue Bryan Mbeumo until the bitter end. But even if they succeed in striking a deal with Brentford, they will still attempt to buy a new No.9 who can be an upgrade on the misfiring Rasmus Hojlund.
In recent weeks, United have tried their luck on several tracks, but found little joy. They have already missed out on Liam Delap who joined Chelsea, and they’re unlikely to sign Victor Osimhen or Viktor Gyokeres.

Therefore, Man Utd have been exploring other solutions, and one of them could be Moise Kean who is coming off the most prosperous campaign of his career after making the move from Juventus to Fiorentina last summer.
The Italian international had a disappointing Premier League experience earlier in his career when he failed to produce the goods for Everton in 2019/20. However, he is now a significantly more mature player on and off the pitch, as evidenced by the 25 goals he scored for the Tuscan club last season.
According to The Athletic, Man Utd are keeping close tabs on the former Juventus and PSG striker who has recently been hailed as a ‘phenomenal striker’ by Italy legend Christian Vieri in an interview with The Italian Football Podcast (via CaughtOffside).
On the other hand, INEOS have rejected the opportunity to sign Callum Wilson, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Jamie Vardy who have all been offered to the club, albeit they could revisit these options later in the summer, if they find themselves in a desperate spot.
That being said, United must act swiftly and decisively if they wish to sign Kean, whose release clause (worth €52 million) will expire on July 15. Afterwards, Fiorentina might decide to request higher figures, especially amidst interest from the Saudi Pro League.
