Paris Saint-Germain have been monitoring Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich for months and nearly signed him last summer. Now, it appears the veteran is open to considering offers.

Barcelona are also said to be interested in Kimmich, along with Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah, as they aim to strengthen their midfield and defense for the 2025 season.

Journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl report that Bayern have given up on convincing Kimmich to accept a pay cut from his current €20 million annual salary.

With his contract expiring next year and growing interest from top clubs, a reduced deal now seems increasingly unlikely.

Kimmich can start talking to clubs and agree to a pre-contract once his current deal with Bayern Munich expires in June. Moreover, it appears that what the player is doing, per a new report.

Bild reports (h/t Diario AS) that Kimmich is still in talks with Bayern about renewing his contract but hasn’t decided yet.

The report also claims that he’s in discussions with other clubs and is unsure whether he wants to move outside Germany. His future remains uncertain as he continues negotiations with several teams.

CaughtOffside recently reported that Liverpool contacted Kimmich in early January to talk about a potential move for next season and plan to follow up soon.

After missing out on Martin Zubimendi last summer, Liverpool are now focusing on Kimmich, whose contract with Bayern Munich is running down.

The report also mentions that Manchester City are interested in Kimmich, with Real Madrid and PSG also being possible options.
