According to Le Parisien, Liverpool are in the race to sign Leny Yoro (18) from Lille in the summer transfer window. The young French defender is in high demand with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid also interested in signing the 18-year-old.

PSG are hot in pursuit of the centre back but they are not the only club in the race for Yoro’s services. Liverpool are also interested in recruiting the 18-year-old as they look to bolster their options at centre-back. He would join fellow countryman Ibrahima Konaté at the Reds if he were to switch Northern France for Merseyside.

Tough negotiations with Lille expected

Any team looking to recruit Yoro from Lille this summer is to expect tough negotiations with Les Dogues, according to Le Parisien. The Ligue 1 club are set to look for a fee in the region of €90m – €100m if they are to allow the France U21 international to leave the Stade Pierre Mauroy this summer.
