The centre-back earned his 10th senior cap in Germany’s 5-0 win over Hungary as the international break reached its halfway point.

In the 69th minute of Germany's meeting with Hungary, the fourth official’s board showed the number 15 in red and the number 2 in green – Robin Koch readied himself to come on for Borussia Dortmund’s Nico Schlotterbeck in front of 49,235 spectators. The Eintracht centre-back’s 10th international appearance was in the books.
