Serie A giants Juventus are in negotiations with Fiorentina for the possible transfer of Weston Mckennie.

According to a report by Daniele Longo, Juventus consider Weston Mckennie out of the club’s project for the future and have welcomed the interest from league counterparts Fiorentina in the player.

The Bianconeri transfer listed the USMNT midfielder after the end of last season and have been discontent with him when he rejected advances from Aston Villa as talks broke down because of his attitude.

The Viola’s new manager Rafaelle Palladino wants to strengthen the midfield ahead of the new season and have eyed up a potential transfer for Mckennie. Fiorentina have nearly completed the signing of Tanner Tessmann from Venezia as they have emerged as one of the most active players in the market this summer.

The Florence-based side does want to invest more than €5 million on the 25-year-old and it is now up to Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli to search for an amicable settlement.
