The Juventus summer market remains a hot topic as the club navigates significant squad changes, with commentary from figures such as Antonio Cassano, Fabio Santini, Francesco Oppini, and Dario Canovi reflecting both skepticism and expectation around recent moves and ongoing negotiations, according to Tutto Juve and Bianconera News.

Juventus' transfer business is headlined by the imminent arrival of Jonathan David, which Francesco Oppini considers "not bad as a start" but insists must be "only the beginning" if the club hopes to meaningfully improve its level. The Canadian striker is being positioned as a key piece for the forward line, yet multiple observers agree that further reinforcements are urgently needed. Fabrizio Biasin, for example, insists that Juventus “need a truly ‘Juve-level’ striker” and says that while Giorgio Chiellini publicly downplays the prospect, Victor Osimhen would fit that profile and “is needed” by the club.

Up front, the Dusan Vlahovic situation remains unresolved and increasingly tense. The Serbian forward’s relationship with the club has cooled, and he is now frequently mentioned in discussions as a candidate for a summer exit. Fabio Santini doubts that Juventus would consider selling Vlahovic to Inter despite the appeal of a Lautaro–Vlahovic strike partnership; he points to the high fee Juventus paid for Vlahovic and the psychological weight this continues to exert on the player. Meanwhile, Dario Canovi, speaking to TMW Radio, advises Vlahovic to stand his ground, stating, “If they want to send you away, either they pay you everything or you stay.” Canovi foresees a possible scenario where Vlahovic allows his contract, which carries a €12 million annual salary, to run down if a suitable offer does not arrive.

The uncertainty around Vlahovic is emblematic of broader discomfort, with Cassano expressing doubts about both Juventus’ current technical direction and coach Massimiliano Allegri’s ability to shift away from established patterns. Cassano observed, “I have serious doubts he can make a real change... but as always, the pitch will speak.”

Beyond the center forward role, Juventus continue to be linked to other targets. There are ongoing contacts for Jadon Sancho and a long-standing, if complicated, interest in Osimhen. The market's complexity is compounded by the need to resolve the fates of several other players—in particular, finding solutions for high earners who are no longer central to the club’s plans.

The consensus among analysts is clear: Juventus’ activity this summer must go beyond individual signings. The squad remains a work in progress, and any path back to domestic and European success will require not just high-profile arrivals but also a coherent plan for trimming and upgrading the roster strategically.
