However, Italian media still expect Manchester City to send an official offer for the versatile defender within the next few hours.

Juventus have set an €80m asking price on Cambiaso, but according to Gazzetta, Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport, the Manchester City offer could be in the region of €60m-65m plus add-ons.

Juventus expert Romeo Agresti explains that Cambiaso has not asked to leave Juventus, but a big-money proposal would tempt both the player and his club.
