According to a recent report from MARCA, Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham is expected to return to training soon and if his progress continues to be positive, he could be called up for the match against Real Sociedad.

The English midfielder is currently the bright spot in Real Madrid’s injury-hit squad, as the team has been dealing with a series of injuries lately.

It is said that Bellingham’s recovery is going well, and it is anticipated that he will join group training next week. If all goes as planned and he feels good, he will be ready for the upcoming match against Real Sociedad.

Bellingham wants to be back

At the moment, Real Madrid players are on a short break and are set to resume training next Tuesday. However, the injured players, including Bellingham, are continuing their recovery work during this break.

After two weeks on the sidelines, Bellingham is eager to push himself and return to the squad in time for the next match.

He is especially motivated to be back, as injuries have taken a toll on the team. Having missed the last three matches against Valladolid, Las Palmas, and Betis, Bellingham is keen to make his return.

What happened to Bellingham?

Bellingham’s injury occurred on August 23 during a training session before the match against Valladolid. He suffered damage to the plantar muscle of his right leg, which has kept him out of action.

The injury situation at Madrid has worsened, with eight players currently struggling with physical problems. David Alaba, Dani Ceballos, and Eduardo Camavinga are facing long-term absences, while Eder Militao is awaiting further tests.

Bellingham, along with Aurelien Tchouameni and Ferland Mendy, remains doubtful for the trip to San Sebastián, though they are expected to recover in time to participate.

Ancelotti will be hoping to have as many players as possible back, particularly with the number of key fixtures coming up. If Bellingham’s recovery continues on track, his return will be a significant boost for the team.
