Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick was left frustrated by midfielder Gavi, on the back of the club’s meeting with Celta Vigo.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Sunday provided an insight into the situation.
Barcelona of course marked their post-international break return to action last night, making the trip to Balaídos for a La Liga meeting with Celta Vigo.
When all was said and done, the Blaugrana were forced to make do with a share of the spoils, after surrendering a two-goal advantage late on.
A leading protagonist in as much was Jules Koundé, whose lapse in concentration opened the door for Celta’s first goal.
Speaking to the media on the back of the clash, the aforementioned Gavi, fresh off his maiden start of the campaign, was not shy in making clear his frustration with his teammate, labelling Koundé’s error a ‘silly’ one.
And, if the latest word doing the rounds on Sunday evening is anything to go by, then such comments did not go down at all well with his manager…
As per a report from Sport, Hansi Flick ‘did not like’ Gavi’s words at all:
‘Flick found out about the comments as did his teammates and they have not been liked. There is anger at Gavi’s statements and maximum support for Koundé, who has the absolute confidence of the coaching staff.’
