San Jose appear to have a gem in Hernán López having recently signed the 23-year-old for a club record fee.
The Quakes found themselves 2-0 down in the early going on the road against Colorado, but the bay area club came roaring back in the final minutes of the first-half to reclaim parity, thanks in large part to López, who scored the equalizer.

López also played a key role in San Jose’s victory against reigning Western Conference champions LAFC last weekend at Levi’s Stadium.
The Quakes have been, quite frankly, horrible to start this season, but have they found the catalyst in a turnaround with the signing of López? Time will tell.
