Fulham came from behind to secure a 1-1 draw in their Premier League contest at Craven Cottage after substitute Emile Smith Rowe equalised with his very first touch.

Fulham had fallen behind just before the hour mark when Leny Yoro's header went in off Rodrigo Muniz and has since been confirmed as an own goal.

There were some protests by Fulham's players towards referee Chris Kavanagh after the goal, with some of the belief that Yoro had unfairly pushed Bassey in the back, thus stopping the defender from winning the aerial duel.

The goal was given, though it did not prove decisive as the hosts rescued a point to maintain their unbeaten start to the new Premier League season.

He said: "It is enough for me to not be able to win the ball and it is an advantage to him. It should have been disallowed.

"When the referee looks back at I think they will be disappointed. I cannot say too much, otherwise I will get a fine!

"It is a foul. When you go up to a jump, any little touch can put you off.

"He wasn't trying to speak to me - he was trying to speak to my captain.

"What do you want me to do? Jump on the floor. It is enough for me to not be able to win the ball."
