Manchester United have reportedly increased their valuation of revitalised forward Antony after seeing the interest he’s garnered in recent weeks.
That’s if Wednesday night’s report from his native Brazil is anything to go by, as UOL claims the Red Devils will now demand £50 million to sanction his exit on a permanent basis.
Previously, it’s been claimed they’d want anywhere between £25-30m to offload Antony, who is among a quintet of outcasts desperately seeking transfers away from Old Trafford this window.

The outlet has also revealed that the 25-year-old will have options to continue in the Premier League if that’s what his heart desires, with both Brighton and Hove Albion and Newcastle United registering their interest.
Elsewhere, Real Betis remain adamant about bringing him back to Seville to pick up where he left off from his stellar loan spell, whilst RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen could offer Antony the chance to ply his trade in an all-new environment in the Bundesliga.
A move to Leverkusen would see him reunite with the manager who advocated so strongly for the club to sign him back in 2022: Erik ten Hag.
Whether INEOS will receive anywhere near the fee they’re hoping to remains to be seen, but you can’t really blame them for holding out such hope.
Antony’s time in M16 left much to be desired. With Betis, though, he looked a player reborn in the second half of 2024/2025, and played an integral role in the Spaniards reaching the UEFA Conference League final and securing Europa League qualification via a sixth-placed finish. He also left with an impressive nine goals and five assists to his name in 26 appearances across all competitions.
Speculation has suggested Antony is keen to repay Manuel Pellegrini’s faith by returning to the Villamarin Stadium in 2025/2026 – so much so that he’d be willing to take a pay-cut to make any prospective transfer easier for Betis.
Yet, with United keen to sanction a full sale only, Betis are almost certain to be priced out of a move.
