Inter Miami are behind early on in Montréal this evening as former Heron Bryce Duke struck against his old teammates to set Stade Saputo alight just minutes before the hosts doubled their lead.

While there is a special number 10 on the pitch in Canada this evening, its youngster and former Miami man Bryce Duke who broke in behind before slotting his shot between the keeper’s legs.

Just minutes later, Montréal found their second on the break. This time it was local hero Jules-Anthony Vilsaint who found the back of the net to stun the visitors.

Miami have made a habit of going behind early in recent weeks, but they typically manage to dig themselves out the hole.

And dig themselves out is just what they did, two goals in the dying minutes of the half from the visitors saw Montréal’s lead erased.

A superb Matias Rojas free-kick followed up by a Luis Suaréz header from a corner silenced the home crowd.
