Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is finalising his plans for the new season. The 60-year-old has already started working on squad planning alongside Deco and has also been meeting with academy players set to start pre-season with the first team.
Among those set to be called up are Toni Fernandez, Juan Hernandez, Jofre Torrents, and Pedro Fernandez ‘Dro’.
These players will report on 13 July at Barcelona’s Sant Joan Despi facilities for medical tests, before beginning training on the 14th as pre-season officially kicks off.
Now, according to SPORT, at least seven to eight players from Barça Atletic and Juvenil A will be given the chance to prove themselves in the first-team pre-season by Flick.
One of those players is Landry Farre. The versatile 18-year-old defender, capable of playing both centre-back and full-back, has already trained with the first team on several occasions this season.

The La Masia product won the UEFA Youth League this season with the Juvenil A setup and has been a regular in the reserve team as well.
Born in 2007, the same generation as Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi, Farre has made significant strides thanks to his physicality, versatility, and particularly his endurance and work ethic.
The teenager was even part of the squad that travelled to Italy for the Champions League semi-final second leg against Inter Milan.
Farre has represented Spain in nearly every youth category and will be in his final year of youth football next season.
Now, the 18-year-old talent will be presented with an opportunity to do pre-season with the Barcelona first-team setup and make an impression on the coaching staff.
