Barcelona star to cut vacation short to complete move away from the club | OneFootball

An out-of-favour member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is ready to cut short his summer vacation, to speed up his impending departure.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Ansu Fati as the player in question.

Wide-man Ansu is of course all set to bring a close to his Barcelona stint over the weeks ahead.

After the 22-year-old again struggled for game-time in Catalunya’s capital this past season, Deco and the Camp Nou brass opened negotiations with their counterparts at AS Monaco, over a loan deal for the 2025/26 campaign.

And as alluded to above, this week, Ansu himself has ramped up efforts to push the transfer over the line.

As per a report from MD:

‘The Barça forward will return from his vacation in the coming days to speed up his departure and finalize the loan to the Monte Carlo team because he urgently needs to close it as soon as possible to benefit from the Principality’s tax advantages.’

Still under discussion between the parties are the purchase terms – optional or mandatory – as well as the fee involved.
