In just over 24 hours, Barcelona take to the field at Estadi de Son Moix against Mallorca in a game that is critical to win.

Taking on Jagoba Arrasate’s men will not be easy given the team’s good run of form. They are coming off a run of two straight wins while Barcelona have taken just one of their last nine points in the competition.

Hansi Flick’s side were poor in November and conceded their entire lead in a matter of weeks. Needless to say, the alarm bells are ringing and a lot must change fast.

Flick’s special conversation

As relayed in a recent update by SPORT, Flick had a special conversation with star striker Robert Lewandowski during the team’s training session earlier today that has caught many eyes.

The Polish striker was seen speaking exclusively with Flick for over five minutes where they were seen discussing presumably the team’s poor form and the need to change the course of their run.

Their talks is also being speculated as a direct implication of Lewandowski’s poor game against Las Palmas at the weekend where he barely created any threat in front of goal.

The former Bayern Munich star has been in great form this season and is comfortably leading the race for the Pichichi. If Barcelona are to find their footing once more tomorrow, it will be essential that he steps up.

Both Dani Olmo and Lamine Yamal are fit to start on Tuesday and it will be interesting to see how the team reacts to their recent slump in form. Expect a statement from the Azulgrana.
