The traveling Feyenoord supporters made themselves heard in the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night. It’s estimated that more than 3,000 fans made the trip from Rotterdam to the North of England to cheer on their side, and well… it turned out to be worth it. Last-gasp goals from Anis Hadj Moussa, Santiago Giménez and David Hancko secured a crazy comeback for Brian Priske’s side, from three goals down to 3-3 in the 89th minute.
As the game came to a close, Feyenoord fans chanted the name of their former boss, Arne Slot, who now manages Premier League leaders Liverpool. With Manchester City struggling and Liverpool flying high, it seemed like the perfect opportunity for Feyenoord supporters to torment the home fans.
Manchester City are now on a run of six successive games without a win across all competitions, the first time Pep Guardiola has ever experienced a winless run that long in his entire managerial career. Meanwhile, Feyenoord secured a deserved point and now turn their attention back to the Eredivisie, where they’re struggling in fourth place.
