An exclusive report has claimed that they know just how much money Chelsea will earn if they manage to go on and win the Europa Conference League this season.

To be honest though, looking at the teams in the competition and seeing how much Chelsea struggled even in the qualifying rounds, there are going to be some very tough games in this and it is nowhere near a given that Chelsea will even get close to winning it at this stage. They have a very long way to go, some hugely tough away games to play in some stadiums where the atmosphere will be tough, and some long away trips too.

However, if Chelsea do manage to get far and eventually win it this season, and exclusive report knows how much Chelsea will earn.

It’s obviously never going to be as much as winning the Champions League or even the Europa League of course, but it will still be a nice little windfall for the club.

Football Insider reports Chelsea will land just over £20million if they lift the Conference League trophy and win all their games in the competition this season.

As per official Uefa documents released in March, a victory in the revamped 36-team league phase is worth £337,000, while finishing in the top eight spots will bank clubs a further £337,000.

Making it through to the final and winning the showdown in Wroclaw, Poland, next May could see teams land £15.18million in total prize money if they were to win all of their group stage matches.

Chelsea have already guaranteed themselves around £5.3million after qualifying for the competition.

Chelsea could, therefore, earn around £20.48million from winning the Conference League this season before any extra commercial matchday revenue is included.
