Everton have agreed a deal with Manchester City to sign Jack Grealish on loan, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The winger is set to complete a medical within the next 24 hours.
The Athletic’s David Ornstein reports that the agreement will include a £50million option to buy, allowing Everton to make the transfer permanent.
Manager David Moyes is pushing for more attacking options as the Toffees prepare for the new Premier League season.
His squad has already been strengthened with several new signings in recent weeks.
Grealish joined City from Aston Villa for a club record fee of £100m on a six-year contract in 2021.
Grealish has made 157 appearances for the club, bagging 17 goals and 23 assists. He lifted the Premier League title in each of his first three seasons at the Etihad Stadium.
His best campaign came in 2022-23 when he helped City win the treble.
He played 50 matches across all competitions, starting every Champions League knockout tie and the final, as City claimed their first European crown.
However, he was left out of the squad for the Club World Cup earlier this summer and has fallen behind Phil Foden, Savinho, Jeremy Doku and Bernardo Silva in the pecking order.
Grealish has reportedly been impressed by Everton’s plans for the future. Moyes views him as an important part of a new-look front line.
The Toffees have also been in talks with Southampton over a possible deal for Tyler Dibling. They recently completed the signing of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea.
Grealish will give Everton greater flexibility in attack as they aim for a strong campaign.
