The date and time for Manchester City’s Barclays Women’s Super League clash against Chelsea have been confirmed.
Presented by Revolut, the blockbuster tie will get under way at 14:30 (UK) on Sunday 23 March and will be available to watch live in the United Kingdom on the BBC.

Our Etihad clash with Sonia Bompastor’s side is the third of four successive fixtures against Chelsea, with the League Cup final at Pride Park beginning that sequence on Saturday 15 March (12:15).
We also lock horns with the Londoners in the UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-finals, with the two legs taking place either side of our Etihad meeting.
First, we welcome Chelsea to the Joie Stadium on Wednesday 18 March, before travelling down to Stamford Bridge on Thursday 27 March, with both fixtures kicking off at 20:00.
City have already faced Chelsea once so far this season, being edged out in the WSL back in November 2024.
The visitors looked on course to grab a hard-earned point at Stamford Bridge, but two late goals saw us beaten for the first times in all competitions in 2024/25.
But now, two of English football’s heavyweights will do battle four times across a thrilling two-week period, including Sunday 23 March’s showdown.
City have already played twice at the Etihad this season, beating Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 before a 4-2 defeat to Manchester United in January.
A third and final tie at the stadium now beckons, as the Blues’ push for the top three continues.
