One Chelsea player has claimed that he doesn’t even look at the Premier League table when asked about the title race this weekend.

Everyone at Chelsea, whether a player or a coach or even a staff member, will be asked about the title race right now and whether they are in one. Chelsea are now just two points behind Liverpool who are top of the league right now, and four points above fourth place Arsenal. To be honest, the way the ‘big’ clubs are all stumbling and dropping points this season, has there been a bigger opportunity in recent times for any club in the top 6 at the moment win the Premier League? After scoring a goal to help his side beat Brentford 2-1 at Stamford Bridge last night, Jackson was asked about being two points behind Liverpool now. He replied:

“Really? No… I didn’t know [smiles]. I don’t really know what a title race is to be honest. I don’t even look at the table!”

I think someone might be telling a little white lie here! Of course Jackson and everyone at Chelsea knows exactly where they are in the table right now, even if they want to continue going about their business in silence!
