Ahead of the new season, Chandarana has opted to leave Blackburn Rovers and she will now take up a fresh challenge in 2024/2025.

Announcing her departure, the player said “Thank you Rovers. After some years in the blue and white, l’ve decided to leave the club. I’ve made some great memories here and made friends for life. Blackburn Rovers Women’s team has played such a big part in the journey of women’s football from the beginning and it’s been a really special place for a lot of people.

“It’s hard to find the right words but I just want to thank everyone past and present who’s made my time here special and all the support we received over the years.

“Will miss playing in the blue and white but hopeful for the future.”

Chandarana becomes the 12th player to leave Blackburn Rovers since the end of last season.
