Celtic target Isak Jansson has completed a move to Ligue 1 side OGC Nice. The Scottish Champions had targeted the Swedish attacker to replace Nicolas Kühn, who looks set to make a €19m departure later this week.
However, Celtic have been beaten to the signature of the player after Nice completed a deal worth €10m to take the player from Rapid Vienna.
Jansson has scored ten goals and assisted on 8 occasions in 45 games in Austria. Celtic are said to have made a £3m deal but knew that a number of clubs were vying for his signature.

Celtic will now need to look elsewhere after Jansson completed the move to the Cote D’Azur. Celtic have are considering both Antwerp’s Michel-Ange Balikwisha and Sarpsborg’s Sondre Orjasaeter. You would imagine that the club will pick up their interest in the coming days once a move for Kühn is concluded.
