FC Barcelona are completely committed to ensuring a stable structure at the club moving forward. La Blaugrana do not wish to keep any unnecessary players in the squad, and the team needs a revamp for that to happen. Fortunately, Barcelona is already working on such operations.
Already, the club is reportedly working on various operations this summer to do just that. In fact, there are reportedly certain operations that the club wishes to resolve urgently in order to free up salary space and generate additional revenue wherever possible.
However, it is true that Barcelona has already accomplished and resolved certain operations as well. Two of the most recent departures that have already been concluded include Ansu Fati’s departure to AS Monaco and Pablo Torre’s recent exit to Mallorca.

Both operations involve young players, but it is not exactly just the transfer fee of any operation that holds all the value for Barcelona. Instead, even the salary space freed up or amount unlocked in accordance with Financial Fair Play in crucial for Barça’s next steps.
As for these two operations, according to the numbers provided by Mundo Deportivo, they have saved Barcelona a considerable amount. To be specific, close to €12 million has been freed up due to the exits of two players in particular.
When it comes to Fati’s departure, the winger’s exit freed up close to €8 million through his loan deal. Similarly, Torre’s departure freed up close to €3.5 million according to Financial Fair Play terms, and it was a combination of the revenue from the transfer itself and the savings from his amortised wages that resulted in that calculation.
With €1 million generated from the €5 million transfer fee received by Barcelona, given that only 20% of that can counted due to their inability to act under the 1:1 rule, the remaining €2.4 million was freed up from the €4 million gross salary that he earned annually.
In that particular calculation, only 60% of the salary costs of outgoing players can be offset. In total, the savings from both those operations combine to free up close to €12 million, an amount that is significant for Barcelona.
Moving forward, the club has other operations to sort out as well. Beyond just the registration of players like Joan Garcia, there is also the matter of wanting a new left-winger. However, that operation might require urgency due to other competitors not exactly waiting for Barça to make a move.
