La Liga champions Barcelona have been made aware of the kind of fee with which they would be required to part, to secure a deal for Liverpool star Luis Díaz.
And the news will no doubt mark a heavy blow for those hopeful of the Colombian international ultimately making his way to the Camp Nou this summer.
As revealed by the reliable David Ornstein of The Athletic, Liverpool received a big-money offer for Díaz earlier today.
As much came by way of Bayern Munich, and is understood to have been worth €67.5 million.
The Anfield hierarchy, however, rejected as much without so much as a second thought.
Not only that, but the Reds are said to have made it known that for Díaz’s sale to even be taken into consideration this summer, a proposal worth a minimum of €100 million will be needed.
At such a price, Barcelona can be considered as all but out of the running for the 28-year-old attacker.
