And featuring prominently, as expected, will be members of the first-team setup at La Liga giants Barcelona.

Santi Denia has opted for a strong panel to take to Paris, featuring several players currently lining out for Spain at the European Championships.

One such starlet comes in the form of Fermín López, whom the Barcelona brass are understood to be fearful of being subjected to the ‘Pedri treatment’, by way of overuse at such a young age.

The 21-year-old’s lack of minutes at the Euros to date, though, have seen him deemed more than well enough to join La Roja at the Olympics.

Elsewhere in new Barcelona boss Hansi Flick’s squad, stopper Pau Cubarsí has also been afforded a call-up, after seeing his Euro 2024 dreams dashed at the last.

And last up from the Blaugrana comes the returning Eric García, fresh off a stellar campaign on loan with Girona.
