An update on the wellbeing of Barcelona star Ferran Torres has on Wednesday come to the fore online.
Ferran has for his part been sidelined since early last month, owing to a hamstring injury suffered during a La Liga meeting with Deportivo Alavés.
The former Manchester City man has since been forced to sit out six fixtures, all but one of which Barcelona managed to emerge victorious from.
Nevertheless, though, with his options relatively limited up top outside of first-choice front three Raphinha, Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski, Hansi Flick is no doubt eager to have Ferran back at his disposal as soon as possible.
Recent days had seen it suggested in the media that the 24-year-old was likely to be given the medical green light to play his part this weekend, when Barca mark their post-international break return to action against Celta Vigo.
If the latest update to have surfaced on Wednesday is anything to go by, however, then as much now seems increasingly unlikely.
Instead, as per a report from Diario Sport:
‘Ferran should be ready for the duel against Las Palmas,’ on Saturday, November 30th.
