An insight into the exgtent of the impending absence facing Barcelona star Ansu Fati has on Wednesday afternoon come to the fore.

The name of wide-man Ansu has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital across the day to date.

This comes after word was forthcoming that the 21-year-old is set for a fresh spell on the sidelines.

Ansu for his part missed the early weeks of the campaign through a foot injury, since struggling to carve out meaningful playing time for himself under the watch of new boss Hansi Flick.

As per a report from Diario Sport, the likeliest scenario is that the attacker is unavailable for any of Barca’s next six outings.

This would mean Ansu missing meetings with all of Celta Vigo, Brest, Las Palmas, Mallorca, Real Betis, and Borussia Dortmund.
