According to the information provided by Esport3, the medical tests that were carried on the player’s injury confirmed that the injury is more serious than it initially appeared to be. Moreover, the player has hurt the same knee where he previously suffered an ACL injury.

As a result of this, the 21-year-old midfielder is now completely ruled out for the upcoming La Liga game against Rayo Vallecano. While he was doubtful for the match before, the latest update claims that the player’s participation is now completely ruled out.

Furthermore, his participation in the upcoming international break with the Spanish National team is now doubtful as well. Despite being one of the seven Barça players that were called up by Luis de la Fuente, it now seems that the midfielder could miss out on that opportunity as well.
